June 4, 2016 | Jenn + Ivan | Wedding

Clearly, my blog is not in order. It says a lot about my life (-.-).

June was a wonderful month. The weather was perfect (but when is it not in Southern California?) and it also means that a lot of people are getting married to take advantage of the beautiful sun during the day, and the crisp evenings when the sun sets.

Jenn and Ivan were one of these couples. I met these two at the church that I now call home and Jenn was one of the first, if not first, person I met. Even when I first met her, I could tell that she was not just nice, but intelligent and thoughtful. When I met Ivan and saw them together, I couldn't help but think, 'They are SO CUTE'.... and then realized that that might sound offensive as I am not that much older than them.

Jenn and Ivan got engaged in Chicago, and that made me love them EVEN MORE as I have a certain affinity towards Chicago. From the moment they got engaged, I was lucky enough to really walk through almost the entire wedding planning with them. From sitting down and thinking about what type of wedding they wanted to have, to being there when they chose the venue, to FREAKING OUT when she chose her dress, I was honored to be able to witness such momentous times with these two.

June 17, 2016 | Jeniffer + Philip | Wedding

I first met Jeniffer at a bridal shower with her now sister-in-law, Becky. Somehow, fate sat us next to each other, and I left that bridal shower with new friends. Not only is Jen beautiful, she is kind and caring and I was immediately drawn to her. And then I met Phil. I don't think I have ever met a guy so in love with his significant other. His face just lit up talking about Jen and I don't think I ever saw him stop smiling.

Yup. I was immediately sucked in to these two. It was the most non-romantic "love at first sight" type of feeling.

Seeing them together was like seeing two older, married couples. They totally understand each other and are so intertwined in who they are, that you look at them and think, "perfection". And dear goodness, I don't think I've ever cried so hard during a dress rehearsal! Not only was it a joy to work with these two, but it was an honor to get to know them and their families and friends.

One of the best parts of planning/coordinating a multi-cultural background is having all of the special traditions and touches throughout the wedding.

March 19, 2016 | David + Grace | Wedding

I have personally known David since we were in elementary school. I distinctly remember the day he moved to America from Poland, and little did I know back then, that we would grow up to be like brother and sister. When Grace came into David's life, I was ecstatic that he found such a beautiful, kind, and fun-loving person.

Their wedding was one of the most fun weddings I've been privileged to go to! The ceremony was at David's parents' church where a traditional ceremony was held for over 400 people.

After holding the beautiful ceremony, the couple held a reception just for their friends at The Unique Space in downtown Los Angeles. This awesome place has a large outdoor area, as well as a really cozy indoor space. Not much needs to be done with this space, but boy, did they do an awesome job in making it all their own.
